Kabir Sehgal is an author and jazz enthusiast. His books have been featured on CNN, NPR, and PBS NewsHour. He is a jazz bassist and a producer of a Grammy-nominated album. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the London School of Economics, and for several years he has worked at an investment bank in New York City.

Surishtha Sehgal is the founder of Mentor Walk, a nonprofit initiative that helps inspire children to stay in school. She was a university professor of psychology for more than twenty-five years and serves on the advisory boards of two universities. She enjoys reading and swimming, and she lives with her family in Atlanta, Georgia.
