How did you come to write this book?
I was washing the dog, Fluffy, with Elizabeth, who was three years old. She started singing "Dog Wash, Dog Wash." And I thought that if she was having so much fun with the words, other children might too.
We dried Fluffy, and I started writing while her Mac and cheese was cooking!
