1) Think of your diet as a bank account. Like with this flawed economy, when you splurge, you need to save afterwards. If you have chocolate cake for breakfast, have a grilled chicken salad for lunch
2) Taste everything eat nothing. Don't be a boring steamed veggie eater. At a fattening restaurant, holiday party or vacation spot, have a little of all the decadent offerings.
3) Cancel your membership to the clean plate club: whether french fries or broccoli, get used to leaving something
4) Do spoil your appetite: before going out at night to dinner or a party etc. Eat a good investment 200 calorie snack and save on hundreds of calories in the bread basket, nuts or popcorn
