In this retelling of the movie, Mandy Rain, Jacque Nimble, and Monica Marriott (Mo Money to all her friends) are ready to begin their freshman year at Summer Grove Academy, a private high school for girls. Or so they think. No sooner do they step foot on the perfectly cut lawns of the tidy campus when the three of them land in trouble—and All-Day Detention! It turns out that the girls have never before faced anyone like tough hall monitor Daisy Johnson, Headmaster Jones and her twin girls—or head cheerleader Bambi Lockwood. How are they ever going to survive this prison-like nightmare where everything they do seems to get them into more trouble? By banding together and being their creative, resourceful selves!
