Alona Pulde

Alona Pulde, MD, is a family practitioner specializing in nutritional and lifestyle medicine in Los Angeles. She received her bachelors of science in biochemistry at UCLA, her masters degree in traditional Oriental medicine from Emperor’s College in Southern California, and her doctor of medicine degree from Albany Medical College. Alona developed the lifestyle change program used for patients in the film Forks Over Knives, as well as in her clinic, Transition to Health: Medical, Nutrition, and Wellness Center. She is lead author of the book, Keep It Simple, Keep It Whole: Your Guide to Optimum Health. Alona joined Whole Foods Market in 2010 to serve as a health and wellness medical expert.

Matthew Lederman

Matthew Lederman, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in nutrition and lifestyle medicine. He received his bachelor of science degree in biology at the University of Michigan where he graduated with distinction. He received his doctor of medicine degree at Temple University School of Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. He has participated in projects such as lecturing for the eCornell T. Colin Campbell Certificate Program in Plant Based Nutrition, as well as appeared in films Healing Cancer From the Inside Out and Forks Over Knives. Along with Alona Pulde, he cofounded Transition to Health: Medical, Nutrition, and Wellness Center and coauthored Keep It Simple, Keep It Whole. Matt joined Whole Foods Market in 2010 to help oversee various health and wellness projects.
